What is a SWIFT USD Account?

Written by Utkarsh Pathak

A SWIFT USD Account allows you to receive international USD payments from clients, businesses, and employers anywhere in the world using the SWIFT network. When USD arrives in your account, it is automatically converted to USDC and credited to your Kosh wallet.

It is especially useful for freelancers and businesses outside the US who receive USD payments from international clients β€” particularly those in India, UAE, and other regions where receiving USD via SWIFT is the most common method.

What You Can Do With It

  • Share your SWIFT account details with anyone paying you in USD internationally

  • Receive USD payments from individuals, businesses, and payroll platforms worldwide

  • Have funds automatically converted to USDC in your Kosh wallet

  • Use that USDC to off-ramp to your local bank, pay vendors, or hold as a stablecoin balance
